Being an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM), this position forms the primary conduit that links the regional/global business strategies to the IT priorities. IT Business Partner should have a deep understanding of the BU strategic goals, plans, opportunities and issues.  S/he should also help the business to understand the value propositions of global IT initiatives. The position is required to provide strong leadership in different regions to establish effective communication and interaction with global or regional key business or IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT services, and deliver high quality services to business.

Principl Duties
  • Engage with Business Units in the respective region at all levels. Provide strategic consultation and advisory to business groups on IT solutions and drive near term/long term IT investment planning
  • Coordinate project demand and drive business IT alignment from initial request until successful delivery.
  • Ensure initiatives align with regional business vision, strategy, and enterprise IT goals
  • Coach and encourage business stakeholders about the potential use of technologies that brings additional values to the business units
  • Drive strategic partnership and manage the mapping of business processes to IT systems to influence business transformation
  • Ensure a real-time understanding of the changing requirements and market conditions of a business or functional group.
  • Anticipate the needs of customers and act as a customer advocate to provide consultative support
  • Partner with business to innovate and drive continuous improvement enabled by IT solutions
  • Deploy a structured process that effectively determines the overall value of an initiative and creates a mechanism for assessing the relative importance, priority and contribution of specific opportunities for the enterprise, business units or functions.
  • Play a key role in the initiation process applying risk/value techniques and business analysis expertise to understand requirements, shape initial requests, and provide high-level estimates of effort and cost
  • Provide IT performance results to business managers in the form of portfolio status update and tracking the realization measures by conducting performance audits
  • Define the success criteria and monitor the performance and report on KPI’s that drive performance of IT
  • Able to effectively influence key stakeholders, team members and peers not in your direct control, to design and deliver optimal solutions in line with the best interests and expectations of the business partner
  • Manage and collaborate cross-functional global IT teams to deliver IT solution support service to business

Technology Skills and Experience:

  • At least 8-10 years of IT management experience, preferably in Finance, HR & Procurement business or identified discipline of JC business
  • Strong knowledge in business process and application with experience of leading a team through detailed process development,  planning, reporting and tracking, especially managing user’s expectations
  • Strong people management skills include: effective planning, organizing and prioritization of tasks. Delegation, develop and motivate the team, critical and strategic thinking, good communication and presentation skills and ability to maintain high team spirit
  • Knowledge and experience partnering with both business stakeholders and senior IT professionals Knowledge to build and manage IT- business relationship, facilitation, communication and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work with large cross-functional teams
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and fully understand and adopt JC values and leadership model in daily management work
  • Ability to identify opportunities for business value and process improvement, communicate strategies, and champion adoption to achieve desired results
  • Experience in sizeable multinational corporations preferred. Proven track record on working in cross-cultural environment. Ability to manage multiple regional projects effectively
  • Excellent knowledge on IT solutions, new technologies and understand technology trends
  • Good mix of technical/IT consulting and business background. Positive, collaborative and solution oriented attitude
  • Strategic planning skills
  • Good understanding in business functional KPIs

  • Master degree or higher in Information or Business Management
  • 10 years or more IT management experience in leading or supporting corporate functions particularly in Finance, HR and Procurement
  • 5 years or more business partnership experience with substantial exposure to senior management
