Tokyo, Japan – We would like to offer our deepest condolences to those who lost loved ones in the Japan floods of July 2018. Our thoughts are also with those who suffered other injuries and loss.

Johnson Controls K.K. and Hitachi-Johnson Controls Air Conditioning, Inc. will donate 2 million yen – 1 million yen each – through the Central Community Chest of Japan to support those affected by the floods. Central Community Chest of Japan is a partner of United Way Worldwide (UWW), an international non-profit organization operating in over 40 countries and regions. Johnson Controls is known as one of a largest contributor to UWW in Wisconsin State, United States.

In addition to that, both companies will raise a charity donation by employees and their labor unions.

We most sincerely hope the affected regions will be able to rebuild and recover as rapidly as possible.
